Privacy for under-18s
Last updated: DRAFT — not yet reviewed
This is the short, plain version for students and parents. It explains what happens with your information if you join the Gradora waitlist. It's written to be easy to read.
If you're a student
You can join the waitlist yourself only if you are 13 or over — we ask you to confirm that. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up for you. All we collect is your email and a few optional details (like your exam board) so we can tell you when Gradora launches. We won't collect anything from you inside the demo, and we'll only email you about Gradora.
If you're a parent or guardian
You can sign up on your own behalf or for your child. We designed the waitlist around the UK Children's Code: minimal data, privacy by default, no nudges to overshare, and no manipulative urgency. Your role is to support your child — we don't do surveillance.
What we never do
We don't sell your data. We don't use tracking cookies. We don't add anyone to our list without a confirmation click. We don't collect anything inside the demo Drill Pack — anything you do there stays on your own device.
Getting your data removed
You (or a parent) can ask us to delete your data at any time, and every email has an unsubscribe link. [TODO: confirm a clear safeguarding/privacy contact address (§13.7).]
The full detail is in our main privacy notice. Data controller: Gradora.
